French figure skater Gabriella Papadakis described this unfortunate wardrobe malfunction as her 'worst nightmare at the Olympics.'

Ahead of Tuesday's free dance final in Pyeongchang earlier, the 22-year-old competed with partner Guillaume Cizeron to Ed Sheeran's hit song 'Shape of You.'

The pair had just started her routine when her dress came undone. It was pretty obvious that Papadakis' breast was exposed on live television, but that didn't stop them from producing an incredible 81.93 point performance.

In fact, the couple are currently ranked in second heading into the final day, and even a wardrobe malfunction didn't let it ruin their night.

After the performance, Papadakis described the nip slip as 'pretty distracting', but insisted that they have 'to be proud of ourselves' for delivering a great performance.

"It was pretty distracting," she said via BBC. "My worst nightmare at the Olympics. I told myself 'you have to keep going'. That's what we did, and we have to be proud of ourselves, delivering a great performance with that happening."

NBC released a statement shortly after the live routine gave those who were watching a view of her nipple when her dress came undone.

"Our coverage of ice dancing was live tonight. Once a competitor's brief wardrobe issue became evident, we purposely used wider camera shots and carefully selected replays to keep the issue obscured," NBC said in a statement.

"We have edited the video for all television encores and online replays."

You've got to give it to Papadakis here for carrying on and securing second place ahead of Tuesday's final. True professionalism.
