Evangelista 'Cyborg' Santos underwent a SEVEN-hour surgery to fix a fractured skull. This sentence just continues to get more grim.

The veteran MMA fighter was on the wrong end of a brutal flying-knee delivered by Michael 'Venom' Page earlier in the month. Fortunately, he had a successful procedure out in Texas.

The knee was heard around the world, as tributes and messages of encouragement poured in.The 38-year-old Brazilian sent some images to MMA Fighting after the gruesome surgery:

A GoFundMe page was promptly set up as a result of the injuries racking up $24,000 in donations while Bellator will take care of the medical bills. Get well soon, 'Cyborg.'
