Tenshin Nasukawa has rebounded from his loss to Floyd Mayweather in stunning, stunning fashion.

The Japanese kickboxer fought 'Money' on New Years Eve in a high-profile exhibition bout. But the promising combat star was emphatically beaten inside one round.

However, over the weekend, the 20-year-old returned to the kickboxing realm and recorded an unbelievable victory.

In a RISE World Series 58kg tournament quarterfinal kickboxing bout with dangerous Argentinian Federico Roma, he produced a highlight reel knockout.

Moments after taunting his opponent, Nasukawa landed a flurry of punches before connecting a sensational cartwheel kick flush on Roma's head.

Nasukawa moves on to the semifinals of the RISE 58kg tournament.

He's expected to compete in the RIZIN Fighting Federation ring at RIZIN 15 on April 21st. He's reported to fight Mayweather's protege Gervonta Davis.

The 42-year-old outlined Davis' next fight following his victory against Hugo Ruiz in February.

"We're talking about May [for Davis' next fight]," he said.

"If that's okay with him. He got an exhibition bout with the guy Tenshin in Japan, in April. He is fighting Tenshin in an exhibition match in Japan, in RIZIN. I'm proud of Tank. He is going to stay active. So first it's Tenshin in April and then in May it's the real fight."

So, another trip to Tokyo for Team Mayweather.

Davis, who's touted as one of the best fighters in world boxing, is slated to take on the kickboxer before defending his WBA (Super) super-featherweight world title in the summer.
