Elon Musk has challenged Johnny Depp to a cage fight after the actor threatened to cut his penis off for an alleged affair with his then-wife Amber Heard.

Depp, 57, is currently suing News Group Newspapers over a Sun headline that branded him a "wife beater" over physical abuse allegations involving Heard.

The Daily Mirror now reports that during the libel trial the High Court was shown Depp's text that he had sent to his friend Christian Carino.

And the Pirates of the Caribbean star vowed to show Musk "things he's never seen before" by cutting off his penis.

Depp texted: "I'll show him things he's never seen before like the other side of his d**k when I slice it off."

Speaking to The New York Times, Musk was unfazed by the threat and proceeded to call out the American actor for a cage fight.

The 49-year-old Tesla chief said: "If Johnny wants a cage fight, just let me know."

Conor McGregor's coach, John Kavanagh, took to Twitter and offered his services to train Musk for a potential cage clash with Depp.

"If you need a coach let me know," the 43-year-old Irish MMA coach tweeted.

Musk has denied having an affair with Depp's ex-wife and claimed his relationship with Heard happened after her marriage with the Sweeney Todd star ended.

He also slammed claims that the pair were involved in a threesome with English model Cara Delevingne.

"We did not have the threesome, you know," Musk said.

"So I think people think these things are generally more salacious than they are."

Musk also weighed in on the current dispute between Heard and Depp and advised them both to "bury the hatchet and move on."

The tech entrepreneur and philanthropist explained: "For the two of them, I would just recommend that they bury the hatchet and move on."
