WATCH: This Is The Only Way Justin Gatlin Can Beat Usain Bolt's World Record And It's Not Legal

Nice try!

There's a good chance Usain Bolt's 100m World Record will never be beaten, that's maybe unless the Jamaican himself is on top of his game in Rio for the summer's Olympics and despite the clock stopping at Justin Gatlin it won't be the American who topples Bolt's incredible 9.58.

Bolt beat his own previous record back in Berlin in 2009 during the final of the World Championships and despite 100m finals now consisting of eight men who all come in under the 10 second mark no one is looking likely to beat Lightning Bolt's record.

However Japanese TV show 'Kasupe!' gave Gatlin a helping hand by using wind machines, or big fans, which blasted out a tail wind of 20 m/ph, 10 times the allowed tailwind for a world record. Unsurprisingly Gatlin was able to take 0.13 seconds off the record but of course his time doesn't count:

Gatlin is likely to be Bolt's main competition at the Olympics in Brazil this summer with the 34 year-old getting ever quicker since his return from a drugs ban in 2010 and was undefeated from his return up until the World Championships last year when Bolt won the 100m, 200m and was part of the 4x100m win for Jamaica.

The American former drugs cheat will be out to stop the most likeable man in Athletics complete the triple triple in the summer. We hope that someone, BOLT, manages to break the record without the aid of cheating- wind machines or otherwise...
