It's official; Brock Lesnar and Goldberg will go head-to-head at this year's Survivor Series in a rematch of their infamous car crash at WrestleMania 20, 12 years ago. And to seal the deal, big Bill made his long awaited return to the WWE last night on Raw to a thunderous ovation to bluntly tell Lesnar that not only was 'The Beast' next, he was also last.

A match between the two has been in the works since Goldberg was featured in an advert for the newly released WWE 2K17 video game, in which the former WCW and WWE World Heavyweight Champion receives a police escort to Suplex City - the location Lesnar put on the map after German suplexing the Kevlar vest off Romain Reigns during the main event of WrestleMania 31, 18 months ago.

While deciding to have a fight simply because Goldberg has had the temerity to allow himself to be featured in a new video game doesn't seem like a particularly valid reason for a rematch, Lesnar's desperation to set the record straight and avenge his loss to 'The Man' 12 years ago, with Goldberg also wanting to prove he has "one last ass kicking" in him seems a pretty appropriate enough pair of reasons for the two icons of the squared circle to beat the living daylights out of each other, one more time.

Following Paul Heyman's appearance on Raw last week, where, in his role as Brock Lesnar's 'Advocate', the former ECW owner laid down the challenge for Goldberg, the former Atlanta Falcons man made a triumphant return to the WWE to deliver his answer and, in a goosebump inducing few minutes, with answered Lesnar's challenge, with the Denver crowd roaring in approval throughout:

(P.S. Can we get the WWE Universal Title on Bob Backlund, please? He deserves it for his cameo in the first video)

Here's hoping it's just 20 solid minutes of the two of them punching each other in the face and suplexing the shit out of one another until the ring collapses. The 20th November can't come soon enough.
