Lasith Malinga has become the very first bowler to record two T20I hat-tricks after taking four wickets in a row against New Zealand.

'Malinga the Slinger' picked up four wickets in ONE over courtesy of his fast, swinging yorkers.

He bowled Colin Munro (12) then trapped Hamish Rutherford (0) LBW. He clean bowled Colin de Grandhomme (0) before removing Ross Taylor (0).

An incredible over. In a matter of four balls, New Zealand went from from 15/0 to 15/4.

He brought up his five-wicket haul after getting out Tim Seifert (8).

Malinga's heroics became the talking of the online cricket community. Here's some reaction from social media:

Sri Lanka went on to bowl out New Zealand for 88 as they won the third T20I match, but they lost the series 2-1.
