The Los Angeles Lakers Twitter page has released a thread of some of Kobe Bryant's unforgettable moments as a Laker in memorial to his tragic passing yesterday morning in California.

Arguably the greatest player to ever wear the Purple and Gold of the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant passed away yesterday morning at the age of 41.

The Basketball icon passed away in a Helicopter crash with a confirmed eight other victims. One of the other victims includes Gianna Maria Bryant, Kobe's 13-year-old Daughter.

To commemorate the Laker legend himself, the Los Angeles Laker Twitter released a thread remembering some of his greatest moments that people may have forgotten.

Even though the majority of Basketball fans will remember some of Kobe's greatest moments such as his five NBA Championships, his one MVP, his 60-point farewell game, his 81 point game against the Toronto Raptors, or his brutal Achilles tear, this Twitter thread reminded us of some of his other great moments that people may have forgotten.

Some of the moments in the thread include his spectacular and unbreaking moments of spirit from the Black Mamba.

Even though one of Kobe's biggest moments in the face of adversity was taking two free-throws after tearing his right Achilles tendon, Kobe also played with a torn rotator cuff once, and opted to shoot left-handed for the game.

Some of the moments on the thread as well showed his wizardry with the Basketball, such as his unheralded playmaking abilities.

Kobe was known as one of the best trash-talkers in the history of the sport as well. He was so good at it due to his ability to easily back it up straight away. One of these moments happened at the Free-throw line against the Brooklyn Nets.

The world of Basketball and sport will never forget one of their biggest Icons.

Rest in Peace, Kobe.
