Two weeks ago, Goldberg returned to WWE for the first time in 12 years when he responded to a challenge set by Paul Heyman on the behalf of Brock Lesnar, Goldberg's last opponent in a WWE ring.
It was announced that the two physical specimens will lock horns for a second time at Survivor Series in Toronto on November 20th, with fans hoping that it goes much better than their other outing at Wrestlemania 20, which was a complete disaster.
Goldberg was back on Raw last night and didn't want to wait until Survivor Series to get physical with Lesnar. Paul Heyman interrupted the former NFL player and made it seem as though his client was on his way out to fight Goldberg.
However instead the Bulgarian Brute Rusev, looking to make a name for himself after losing his Hell in a Cell match with Roman Reigns, came out and disrespected the former world champion. He hit Goldberg with a right hand but big Bill was having none of it and promptly hit him with his trusty 'Jackhammer' finisher. He wasn't done there though, and then hit Heyman with the vicious spear that defeated so many opponents in WCW.
The fans went into a frenzy in the same way they did in WCW's hayday when Goldberg was undefeated for 173 straight matches.
Pure nostalgia. Goldberg and Lesnar will lock up for the second time in just under three weeks time.
