Never change, Brock.

The loss of Jon Jones from UFC 200 sent the promotion into a state of frenzy as they scrambled to save the historic card from losing one of it's marquee fights.

Due to Jones' flagged drug sample, Anderson Silva has been drafted in to fill his place as he meets Daniel Cormier in a 3-round light-heavyweight attraction. The loss of the budding pound-for-pound star has left fans mourning his departure though Brock Lesnar, in the most typical Brock Lesnar way, brushed off his absence by claiming "Merry Christmas to Brock Lesnar."

The former UFC heavyweight champion fielded questions from the media after his pre-fight work out were he responded to the stunning turn of events surrounding Jones.

"Like I said, it's unfortunate, it's unprofessional, when this type of positive testing happens, it's just the way it is. What else do you want me to say? Merry Christmas to Brock Lesnar."

Here's the full Q&A from his open workout, courtesy of the UFC YouTube channel:

Brock's soundbites continue to be gold following his "I'm just a jacked white boy" and now this. It's good to have him back within the MMA fold.

Since the workout, Silva has been added to the card as well as Miesha Tate's first defence of the bantamweight against Amanda Nunes being upgraded to the UFC 200 headline act. The returning WWE star takes on former K-1 stand-out Mark Hunt in the co-main event.

Despite the hit the card has taken, it's still a must-see event. We can't wait.
