We already know how Conor McGregor envisions the showdown with Eddie Alvarez by predicting a first-round knockout. The bombastic Irishman was bullish as ever claiming his fist was bigger than Alvarez's head but the UFC lightweight champion is also anticipating an early night.
Following the one-round destruction of Rafael dos Anjos in July, Alvarez is brimming with confidence ahead of the main-event bout with McGregor at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York.
"I think we do it under the nine-minute mark. Big, big heavy shots, he goes down and then submission." The Philly-fighter told FOX Sports.

Adding that he believes the fight will be reminiscent of the first Nate Diaz encounter. "I can see it ending much like the (Nate) Diaz fight where I land the heavy shot and then I finish with a submission."

Continuing the running theme of questioning the featherweight champions heart. "From what I've seen in the past and what he's done in the past, (his heart) is very questionable and I'm not the only one who's questioned it."

While offering a rousing, and quite frankly terrifying, prediction ahead of the eagerly-awaited title fight. "On November 12, I'm going to pull it out of him and I'm going to show it to millions of people and the crowd. Everybody's going to see it. We're going to reveal the quit."
UFC 205 is just a few weeks, and it can't come quick enough.
