The president, soon to be replaced in the position by Joe Biden, loves playing the sport - to the point he's probably spent more time on the golf course than he has actually running the United States.
Prior to his Thanksgiving dinner the 74-year-old was partaking in his favourite activity but like the recent election, it was a disaster to say the least.
His woeful shot into the water prompted him to fume, "Aaaargh s**t... I hate this f******g hole!"
It's the sort of mini-rant you'd expect from Happy Gilmore, the Adam Sandler film character who had a tendency to lose his head if he missed a shot.
TMZ shared the 20 second clip of Trump here:
It's been reported that Trump, who claims he possesses a USGA handicap index under five, has been on site of his golf courses or playing golf 300 times since being in office - linking up with pro golfers Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson to name a few.
His predecessor Barack Obama is believed to have played a total of 333 rounds of golf during his tenure as President.
According to Mark Knoller, a CBS journalist and presidential historian, Obama accumulated 1,665 hours and that equated to three per cent of his stint in the White House.
In the past Trump has regularly criticised Obama for the amount of golf he played - though the irony is that he has actually played much more.
It looks like he still needs a bit more practice though...
