Olympic US gold medallist swimmer Ryan Lochte has been held up at gun point in Rio, Fox are reporting.

Lochte is now safe, but had been invited to a party by Brazilian swimmer Thiago Pereira with three of his American teammates, when the incident took place. Lochte called his mother, Ileana immediately afterwards, who said it was "terrifying" to hear.
