Demetrious Johnson has beaten Wilson Reis to defend the UFC flyweight title, subsequently tying with the GOAT and former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva for most consecutive title defences.

While proving once again why he's the pound-for-pound UFC king.

The Brazilian defended the UFC middleweight title on 10 occasions during his reign as title holder from 2006-2013.

Johnson has now replicated his incredible feat following his victory against Reis, racking up his 10th consecutive title defence.

Meanwhile, 'Mighty Mouse' improves his professional record to 26-2-1 (13-1-1 in the UFC), cleaning out the 125lbs division in the process.

Not only has he beaten experienced campaigners Joe Benavidez (x2) and Ian McCall, but also rising prospect Kyoji Horiguchi as well as Henry Cejudo, among others.

Johnson is now just one title defence away from breaking Silva's long standing record.
