Felipe Massa has just announced that he will retire from Formula 1 at the end of this season.

Since making his debut back in 2002, the current Williams driver has started 242 grands prix while winning eleven of them.

The Brazilian racer has enjoyed a 14-year career in F1 but speaking at Monza he claimed; "This will be my last season in F1."

The 35-year-old is experiencing a struggle in form having accumulated just 39 points including back-to-back 10th place finishes.

After beginning his career at Suaber, he then moved to Ferrari before finishing with Williams where he has spent three campaigns.
