It's On! The Big Show Confirms Wrestlemania 33 Match with Shaquille O'Neal

It's going down in Orlando!

We've only just had this year's Wrestlemania five months ago, but it looks as though we've already got our first match-up.

While doing promotional work for WWE in China this week, the Big Show has all but confirmed a match is set in stall between he and Shaquille O'Neal.

Speaking to Shanghai Daily, he said:

"We'll have one heck of a match and we'll see what's up. We'll give the fans a treat."

The two have history dating back a few yeas when Shaq guest hosted Raw and had an altercation with a man roughly the same size, the Big Show.

They collided again at this year's Wrestlemania when the NBA legend made a shock appearance in the third Andre the Giant Battle Royal and immediately set his sights on Show before the two were eliminated from the match.

There is unfinished business though, and the challenge was laid out at the ESPY's three weeks back for a match at next year's Wrestlemania in Orlando - a place Shaq knows very well.

Big Show is no stranger to battles with celebrities and athletes on the Wrestlemania stage. He had a match with Sumo wrestler Akebono in 2005 at Wrestlemania 21 and three years later he did battle with Floyd Mayweather in a huge match at Wrestlemania at the Citrus Bowl.

Some years later, Big Show will have yet another high-profile encounter in the same building, as the Giants of the WWE and NBA' world mix it up.

It won't be a technical masterpiece by any stretch but it's a big match in more ways than one. Of course, all WWE cards are subject to change, but this one looks set in stone.

Are you excited about seeing Big Show and Shaq on the Wrestlemania stage? Let us know in the comments?
