UFC's plans for their 200th PPV have already taken a rather substantial blow with the loss of the Conor McGregor/Nate Diaz rematch and now another well known name has pulled out of the card on July 9th.
Paige VanZant, a popular fighter in the promotion's female strawweight division has given up her spot in favour of continuing her success on 'Dancing With The Stars', the US version of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
VanZant had her momentum halted when she tapped out to Rose Namajunas in December after a brutal, bloody bout. Since then the 22-year-old has enjoyed phenomenal success on the dancing programme, achieving a perfect score with her latest performance. This has prompted her management to prepare for reaching the final of the show, an event that would interfere with UFC 200 and therefore have decided to pull VanZant from the supercard.

VanZant's manager, Mark Roberts, told MMA Fighting:
"After thinking about it, the show is taking up a lot of her time.
"She wants to have time to improve and get better, so we decided to postpone her return to about late-August."
The belief at this moment in time is that VanZant will return to the octagon in time for either UFC 201 or 202.
