50 Cent Provides The Detail We All Want Regarding Mayweather Vs. McGregor

Talks of a potential Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor mega-fight aren't going to go away, especially if the latter obtaining a boxing license albeit in the state of California. But it appears the supposed retired pound-for-pound king is "dead serious" about fighting the UFC superstar.

Well, that's according to rapper 50 cent.

The pair have traded barbs going back-and-forth promoting the hell out of a potential fight and on fight week during the promotions inaugural event in New York, UFC president had a conversation with the businessman and someone close to Floyd about such fight.

White bumped into 'Fiddy' at a restaurant and the following was said;

"I was at dinner in New York for (UFC) 205, and we bumped into each other at dinner." He told FOX Sports Live.

"So we were hanging out, we were talking for awhile, and then I went over and sat back at my table and I ate. And then when we were leaving, he said to me, 'When's your boy gonna fight Floyd?"

"And I said, 'My boy? Who are you talking about, Conor?' And he said, 'Yeah.' I said, 'Floyd don't want to fight Conor.' And he goes, 'He does, Dana. He's dead serious about it.' And I said, 'I don't know, man. Call Floyd and see what's going on."

McGregor's contract with the Zuffa promotion forbids any bout outside of the Octagon but a fight of this magnitude is music to the ears of the 'Baldfather'. Just give him a call, Floyd.
