He's considered one of if not the best that UFC has ever seen and coming to the end of his illustrious career Anderson Silva fancies a big fight night against Conor McGregor.
At 40, with four straight losses, a year wait between most of his fights, a failed drugs test, a fractured leg and no win since 2012 in his recent past Silva isn't the fighter he once was and that's why it's not title fights he's after but big draws.
And despite losing his most recent fight, and his undefeated run, to Nate Diaz recently the Notorious remains one of the biggest draws in the sport. Speaking to Brazilian outlet Combate Silva revealed the the three men he'd like to go up against:

"That's a challenge I would like to do. I've never asked to fight anybody, but I would like to test my martial arts skills against Conor McGregor. I would like that and a rematch with Nick Diaz and Michael Bisping. I think McGregor is a great striker...You have to respect him, the loss to Diaz doesn't diminish his career at all. These are the fighters I would like to fight. McGregor, Diaz and Bisping because that fight did not end nicely."
The fight would obviously have to be at 170, the weight that McGregor lost to Diaz at, and the Irishman's next fight is likely to be a rematch against the same opponent at that weight at UFC 200.
Silva vs McGregor does have an excellent sound to it but in reality you'd need the Silva of yesteryear to make in a viable fight not a 40 year old who hasn't fought at such a low weight since his Pride days in the early part the century.

We'll look forward to a McGregor vs Diaz rematch, McGregor vs Aldo rematch or fights against Dos Anjos and Frankie Edgar long before thoughts of this one going ahead.
