He's arguably the biggest sportsman on the planet right now.

Conor McGregor has well and truly made a name for himself since making his pro debut seven years ago and his global brand continues to sky rocket.

McGregor has his fair share of supporters, but back in 2015, 'Notorious' responded to a number of Twitter haters ahead of UFC 189 and looking back, it's absolute gold.

The best quotes here? "I'll wipe my tears with money" and "Who's Katie Hopkins?", but there's a plethora of hilarious comments from McGregor, who is clearly in his element here.

Priceless entertainment:

In terms of McGregor's potential fight with Floyd Mayweather, the 40-year-old has finally ended his hiatus away from the sport by confirming that he's coming out of retirement to fight 'Notorious; in June.

Mayweather was doing the rounds across the U.K on his 'Undefeated' tour and while in Liverpool, he dropped a massive bombshell by claiming he's set to lace up a pair of boxing gloves once again.

Check out the footage below:

In a sit-down interview, the former pound-for-pound king declared;

"Everybody get your phone's out and get this on the internet ASAP. I'm coming out of retirement to fight Connor McGregor, so right now i'm not retired. If you're serious sign the paper work and lets fight in June."

According to sources from FrontRowBrian - a legit MMA social media personality - via FloCombat, June 10th has been put on hold for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Now, this tidbit doesn't actually confirm such fight but the newly built arena has reserved a date at the biggest venue in the fight capital of the world, Vegas

The T-Mobile Arena has yet to stage a Mayweather fight who has become synonymous with the famous MGM Grand Garden Arena.

While McGregor fought there at UFC 202, avenging his first UFC loss by out-pointing Nate Diaz in a grueling war.

What's more, AEG and MGM Resorts, which operates T-Mobile Arena, recently announced a 'multi-year' partnership, which calls for the UFC to host four annual events at the arena.

Mayweather announces publicly he's no longer retired, then proposes a June fight with a venue locked for a specific date that month.

Hmm. Interesting. Watch this space.
