WWE Superstars And Legends Are Firing Shots At Conor McGregor

'Notorious' might need to find himself some back up

Conor McGregor is tailor made for the world of Sports Entertainment - He's handy with his fists, knows his way around a submission hold and his mouth and ego are bigger than Hulk Hogan's arms. Now, 'Notorious' has drawn the ire of a number of WWE superstars and legends and wrestling fans are losing their fucking minds at the prospect of the UFC Featherweight Champion following the lead of his rival Floyd Mayweather and exchanging one combat sport for another and stepping inside the squared circle.

McGregor lit the touchpaper when he dropped the line "...Those WWE guys are p***ies. They're messed up p***ies if you ask me." into a recent UFC 202 conference call and then followed up his statement with the following 'apology'.

Needless to say, current WWE superstars and legends alike reacted to the statement in a manner akin to Steve Austin seeing someone pour his post-match lager away...

Former WWE Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle led the charge...

Before three time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns joined the party with a Superman punch of a response...

Thankfully, pro-wrestling's biggest hater of 'stupid idiots' Chris Jericho couldn't resist, either...

Current Tag Team champion and Booty-O salesman Big E Langston jumped in on the action, too...

As did McGregor's compatriot Becky Lynch...

AJ Styles was equally as dismissive of 'Notorious' and his small stature in comparison to the WWE roster...

And, saving the best 'til last, here's 16 time World Champion, 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair proving why he ought to be put in the WWE Hall Of Fame for a THIRD time...

I'm now genuinely praying The Four Horsemen reunite and jump McGregor following his rematch with Diaz at UFC 202 and do to him what they did to Dusty Rhodes at the Omni, in 1985...

Now we play the waiting game until Triple H announces that McGregor will be headlining WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, next year. Let's hope Brock Lesnar's got nothing planned for April 2nd, 2017, just yet.
