If there's one thing Conor McGregor does better than knocking people's heads off their shoulders, it's shithousing them in press conferences and interviews before and after the fight.

Whether he's calling out Floyd Mayweather, dismissing how Brazilian Rafael Dos Anjos is, threatening the entire WWE locker room, launching cans of Monster at Nate Diaz, comparing himself to Jesus or wondering who the fuck Jeremy Stephens is, 'Notorious' is simply unstoppable with a mic in his hand.

So, in a year where the Irishman has suffered his first UFC defeat, 'retired', been granted a boxing license and become the first man in the history of UFC to hold two World Titles, we decided to remember the greatest McGregor moments outside of the octagon as they've done just as much to make him the biggest draw in MMA today as his success inside the ring has.

"I see fighters make funny videos about me and stick them on Facebook and get 20 likes. When I make a video, I sell it to Fox and make seven figures. That's the difference. "

"The only weight I give a fuck about is the weight of the cheques and my cheques are super-heavyweight."

(February 2016, ahead of his UFC 196 bout with Nate Diaz)

"There are two things I really like to do and that's whoop ass and look good. I'm doing one of them right now and on Saturday night, I'm doing the other."

(August 2013, ahead of his fight with Max Holloway at UFC Fight Night Boston)

"These custom-made suits aren't cheap. This solid gold pocket watch, three people died making this watch. I need to put people away. I need those big fights. I'm going to end up in debt pretty fast."

(August 2013, following his victory over Max Holloway at UFC Fight Night Boston)

"I own this town, I own Rio de Janeiro, so for him to say that he is the king and I am the joker, if this was a different time, I would invade his favela on horseback, and would kill anyone who wasn't fit to work. But we're in a new time, so I'll whoop his ass instead."

(March 2015, ahead of his scheduled fight with Jose Aldo at UFC 189. The fight was cancelled and rescheduled for UFC 194)

"There's no talent here, this is hard work. This is an obsession. Talent does not exist, we are all equal as human beings. You could be anyone if you put in the time. You will reach the top, and that is that. I am not talented, I am obsessed."

"He's a quiet, little hillbilly from the back arse of nowhere. His cousin is probably named Cletus."

"I don't just knock them out - I pick the round."

(2014, ahead of his bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 178)

"My thoughts on Dennis Siver are: He's a midget German steroid head."

(2015, before his UFC Fight Night 59 victory over Dennis Siver, who had tested positive for a banned substance)

"Me and Jesus are cool. Gods recognise Gods"

(2016, Dring a press conference ahead of his UFC 196 bout with Rafael Dos Anjos, who was later replaced by Nate Diaz)

"Dana, 60gs babayyyy!"

(April 2013, Immediately following his UFC debut victory in Stockholm, McGregor called out UFC President Dana White to award him with the $60,000 Knockout of the Night prize - and he did.)

"Who the fuck is that guy!?"

(September 2016, Jeremy Stephens was put in his place during a press conference for UFC 205)

And then of course, there's his social media game, which is't half bad either...

We're sure 'Notorious' will add plenty more to this list in 2017. Until then, enjoy the rest of your Christmas. Make sure you spend it doing fookin' nuttin.
