Dallas Cowboys Hold 'Hope To Dream' Sleepover At Stadium

Amazing stuff.

As a kid growing up you likely dreamed of playing at the home stadium of whatever team you support. 100 'underserved' children from Dallas got the chance to have an ultimate sleepover at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

The Cowboys home, the AT&T Stadium, holds 80,000 fans on game day but in connection with the Ashley HomeStore's Hope to Dream charity and The Salvation Army it instead hosted 100 local kids for a huge sleepover instead.

Michael Levitz, President of Ashley Furniture HomeStore said, "We are excited about providing, for the second year, this once in a lifetime opportunity for 100 local kids to spend the night in an unbelievable facility, the AT&T Stadium, and to be hosted by the Dallas Cowboys organization. Each child will leave with their own bed."

The under privileged families were welcomed with a red carpet entrance to the stadium before they visited the locker room to be told about the bed that was awaiting them on the field before the bed would be delivered to their home after the sleepover.

Beds came with Cowboy's bed spreads as well as goodies from the club including footballs, team photos and teddy bears and the party included Papa John's Pizza, bouncy castles, and dance competitions with the Cowboy's Rhythm and Blues Dancers

.

Veteran dancer Sammi Paradice loved the experience and called it the best she'd had working for the Rhythm and Blues Dancers and said, "Just seeing the looks on the kids' faces and how happy they are made tonight very special."

It's a really wonderful event that the Cowboys put on and they put on a lot of smiles on a lot of happy childrens' faces. They had a great day out and now all have their own beds to sleep in.
