People are saying that KSI is now technically the best boxer in the world.

Logan Paul went eight rounds with Floyd Mayweather Jr. during their long-awaited exhibition bout in Miami tonight.

And with KSI, real name Olajide Olayinka Williams "JJ" Olatunji, having previously beaten Paul in their fight a couple of years ago, the YouTube sensation is now being touted as the best around.

In a tweet following the fight, KSI said: "So...You're saying I'm now the best boxer in the world?"

Paul, 26, somehow managed to go the distance with the 44-year-old Mayweather, defying many of his critics who said he would get found out.

And while Money outclassed him in huge parts of the fight, and was on the front foot for its entirety, Paul stuck in there, making it to the final bell.

In his post-fight interview, Mayweather offered some praise for Paul, telling him that he was 'better' than he had thought.

Paul said it was an 'honour' to step in the ring with the legend, saying 'happy I made it out'.

Speaking ahead of their exhibition bout at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium, Paul told reporters that he was ultra-confident of ending Money's incredible winning streak.

He said: "There's a moment that goes through every fighter's mind. Everyone we spar, everyone Jake's beat.

The long-awaited fight went the distance.

"When we hit them, they realise, 'Oh, he might not just do YouTube. This guy really put his heart and soul in this.'

"I hit hard. I think you're going to see Floyd's eyes light up, the first time I hit him."

And he wasn't the only one who thought he was going to do it.

Former world champion Regis Prograis put $50,000 on Paul knocking Mayweather out.

Sadly for him, however, his bet didn't come off, meaning he won't be cashing in the $200,000 winnings.
