Football Player Handed Five Year Ban For Biting Opponent's Penis

Football Player Handed Five Year Ban For Biting Opponent's Penis

A footballer has been suspended from the game for a grisly post-match brawl with one of his opponents.

The awful occurrence happened in November last year in eastern France after a local league second division game between Terville and Soetrich.

If you're even the slightest bit squeamish then it's probably best to stop reading.

Following the match, a player on both sides started fighting, however a second Terville joined the melee in an attempt to stop the argy-bargy. Another Soetrich player didn't take too kindly to this Good Samaritan, joined the fight and ended up biting his opponent's penis hard.

The unwanted bite was so severe that the victim required 10 stitches and had to take four days off work.

A disciplinary tribunal was called to work out the punishments that would follow as a result of the brawl. The penis-biter has been suspended from the game for five years and the man who had his pecker bitten also copped a six month suspension, according to the Daily Mail.

The Mosellan Football District's Emmanuel Saling said the blame has been shared between both teams.

"The events took place after the match, in the stadium car park. There was an altercation, an escalation and things got worse," Mr Saling said.

"It's quite rare to have sanctions of several years, there are less than 10 per year. The case was a bit saucy, but...there must have been some nasty tension, so the smiles on the disciplinary committee quickly faded."

The disciplinary committee had to call an expert witness for the case because it was 'quite original'.

The cherry on top of this bizarre story is that the November game ended in a 1-1 draw, which would have been Terville's first point of the season.

The disciplinary hearing resulted in Terville being fined two penalty points and the club has been ordered to pay a 200 euro fine. The club was reprimanded for not meeting their safety obligations as hosts and club officials didn't react accordingly when the fight broke out.

Anyone who's had a penis-related injury will no doubt be keeling over just at the thought of having someone chomp down on your genitals.
