Conor McGregor earned approximately £1.5 million ($1.9 million) a second after his 40 second win in Las Vegas last night, according to the fighter himself.
McGregor took out opponent Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone in the first round and claimed he will scoop £60m ($78m) for the bout. If his figures are correct, that equates to one-and-a-half million quid for each second he fought. Not a bad night's work, eh?
The fight's purse was £2.3m ($3m), but the real cash will come in from the pay-per-view earnings, which will give the 31-year-old one helluva pay cheque.

McGregor's return to the Octagon after his defeat by Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018 was eagerly anticipated by MMA fans, but it was pretty much a 'blink and you'll miss it' event with the Irishman taking the win in under a minute.
Speaking after the fight, McGregor: "I'm so happy. Who's going up and down divisions and stopping people like that?! The UFC can strip fighters [belts] and give other fighters make-believe belts in order to replicate my champ-champ status but they can't give knockout victories across multiple weight divisions.
"Etch my name in history one more time. For the Irish people, for my ma back home... I love ya to bits, I'm coming home with the win!
"I made history here tonight, I set another record. I'm the first fighter in UFC history to secure knockouts at featherweight, lightweight and now welterweight so I'm very proud of that.

"Donald holds the record for the most head-kick knockouts so I'm so happy to get him there with a head-kick myself."
Meanwhile, defeated opponent Cerrone admitted that McGregor's speed caught him by surprise.
Speaking after his loss, he said: "I was like 'oh man, this happened this fast'. I got my ass whipped early!'
"He got me with his elbows right away and distorted me. Then he head-kicked me.
"I've never seen anything like that. He caught me way off guard. He busted my nose, it started bleeding, then he stepped back and head-kicked me."

Talk has already turned to who McGregor will fight next with belt holder Jorge Masvidal and UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman names both being thrown around.
McGregor is seemingly keen for either, adding: "Anyone of these mouthy fools can get it!"
