Jake Paul Says He’s Bet The Team 10 House On Boxing Match Against AnEsonGib
Team 10 (a group of aspiring social influencers who live with Paul) might not be too thrilled about the news - they might be looking for a new home soon.
Following in the footsteps of fellow YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI, Jake Paul and AnEsonGib will come to blows at the end of the month, when they take each other on in the ring.
One fan told Jake that they had bet two different people $100 (£77) that he would win. This must have got Jake all excited because he then responded with a photo of the Team 10 house.
He wrote on Instagram: "If you were smart, you would bet your whole house on it like me."
Replying to another fan, he ripped into Logan's coach Shannon Briggs. He posted: "My coach who is a legend @ShaneMosley but who is also very humble & realistic thinks I take him out in the 3rd [round] and he knows boxing like the back of his hand."
Jake's older brother Logan Paul was defeated by fellow YouTuber KSI in a boxing match at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
KSI, real name Olajide Olayinka Williams 'JJ' Olatunji, won by split decision 56-55, 57-54, 56-55. That's despite Logan Paul outlanding KSI 61 to 56, according to CompuBox.
KSI said: "I've never worked so hard. In the ring, in camp it was tough but I just kept going. I was ready, I was on fire. He couldn't deal with my jabs to the body tonight."
Logan, 23, also revealed that he had a life-changing injury that had caused him to have damage to the brain in a video last year, meaning his fights with KSI were even more dangerous than we had thought.
He said that when he was in the seventh grade, he had a skull fracture and now has a titanium plate in his head.
Discussing the matter with a doctor, Logan explained that he wanted to figure out why he's so 'f***ed up' (his term, not mine).
He also wanted to discover why he thinks and acts the way he does, why he's 'emotionally unavailable' and why he's 'incapable of maintaining a committed relationship'.
He ended up having a scan which looked at activity in the brain and revealed that he had damaged the pre-frontal cortex - which, for anyone that has no idea (like me), is the part of the brain that deals with planning complex cognitive behaviour, personality expression, decision-making and moderating social behaviour.
