FIFA 19 players have the ability to clap at kick-off after their opponent has scored a goal.

Yes, you read that right.

One Twitter user tweeted a Reddit thread at EA Sports global community engagement team manager Corey Andress and gameplay producer Tom Caleffi, which asked for the developer to introduce a way to applaud an opponent's goal.

"Saw the post this morning! Definitely appreciate the feedback. We'll note it," Andress responded.

Meanwhile, Caleffi replied by saying that a 'subtle' feature was already in the game.

"We have something for this already (you can use the D-pad after a goal), it is a bit [subtle], but we are looking into improving this feature to make it more noticeable," he tweeted.

Check it out in action below.

Pretty neat, right?

According to the FIFA 19 gameplay producer, players need to hit L1 on PlayStation or LB on Xbox along with the directional pad to activate it.

When one user was surprised by how it was in the game -- as many others were -- and asked if there were any other features people weren't aware of, Caleffi confirmed that there were.

"I believe so, we like to add some little Easter eggs or some interesting mechanics to see how it plays out before we fully adopt it," he said.

"I don't think anyone knows about this. Thanks!" one user said.

A second tweeted: "When did this come in and does anybody actually know about it? It's great."

A third added: "Didn't even know this was a thing, thanks."

In other FIFA news, Liverpool's Mohamed Salah has a 'diver trait' in the game. Meanwhile, EA Sports dropped a Zlatan Ibrahimović flashback card for Ultimate Team this month.

FIFA 19 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

What feature should be introduced in the next FIFA instalment?
