Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and Real Madrid left-back Marcelo are among the star names to receive positional changes in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team.
EA Sports has dropped the first batch of players in the 'ShapeShifters' promotion, with different footballers getting an upgraded rating and new on-field positions.
And Messi has now shifted away from his trademark right-wing position to a centre-forward in his ShapeShifter Ultimate Team card.
All of the 32-year-old Argentine superstar's previous FIFA 20 Ultimate Team cards have had him out on the right wing.
The new Messi card will allow players to modify his position to a striker boasting a 96 rating, which is a boost on his 94 base overall.
Marcelo is an 85-rated left-back in his base card, but he has received a significant upgrade to 91 and is now a CAM.
Players can even change the 31-year-old Brazilian star's position to a CDM or even play him as a CF or ST.
Arsenal defender David Luiz also joins Marcelo and Messi in the 90s thanks to his new ShapeShifter card.
The 32-year-old ex-Chelsea star has climbed up from his base 83 rating to an impressive 91 and has moved to a CDM position.
Just like Marcelo, Luiz's position can be changed in the midfield and players can even turn him into a striker if they like.
Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder has been moved to the right wing with a 90 rating, while Napoli star Dries Mertens has been modified to a left winger with a 90 overall.
Manchester City star Riyad Mahrez has been moved into a CAM role with an 89 rating and Tottenham ace Lucas Moura has been turned into an 87-rated RM.
FIFA 20 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
