FIFA 20 Player Creates In-Depth Tutorial On How To Score Knuckleball Free-Kicks
A YouTuber has created an excellent FIFA 20 tutorial to highlight the most effective technique to use for knuckleball and power-based free-kicks.
YouTuber TFVGaming I Rohan Trehan uploaded the video on the platform in September and it has been viewed over 700,000 times at the time of this writing.
And the YouTuber's comprehensive tutorial breaks down all of the important factors that players need to consider for FIFA 20's free-kicks.
The video spotlights the most effective range for doing knuckleball free-kicks and recommends players be 30 to 40 yards out if they plan to attempt it.
Once players have the right range for the free-kick, they need to decide their free-kick taker and Trehan suggests they focus on the one with the highest accuracy and power.
And FIFA 20's new aiming mechanic for free-kicks is essential when it comes to the right taker.
Players should use a left-footed footballer for right-sided free-kicks, while a right-footed footballer can also be used for right-sided set pieces.
While the player is aiming with the left stick and preparing to shoot, Trehan says they must "then flick the right stick down, then up and then hold it back down."
According to Trehan, players need three bars of power on their shot to pull off the knuckleball technique in the video -- not to mention getting the timed shooting down.
For anyone planning to attempt this technique, EA Sports has revealed the top 25 free-kick takers in FIFA 20.
While knuckleball free-kicks won't be for everyone, a Reddit user shared a technique on how players can score from set pieces 'nine times out of ten.'
And another FIFA player has discovered a neat trick for how to score directly from corner kicks.
FIFA 20 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
