You could probably find more positive things to say about Mrs. Brown's Boys than you could about Arsenal's August and the Gunners miserable first month of the season has been officially confirmed with the naming of their player of the month.
Why a vote for the award was even conducted is a mystery on a par with what the end of Inception actually means, but nonetheless Arsenal went ahead and named Bosnian full-back Sead Kolasinac as their best player for August.
Now, Kolasinac has admittedly looked quite impressive during the embryonic stages of his Arsenal career, but more in attack than defence where, as a left-back, he is, y'know, quite important.

However, given the fact that out of the three games Arsenal have played in the Premier League, Kolasinac has only started two and the Gunners shipped four goals in those matches, three against Leicester City and another one in a losing effort to Stoke, it makes you wonder just how effective Kolasinac was in those appearances.
Oh, and for the third game of the season, the former Schalke man was benched while having to watch Hector Bellerin play out of position at left wing-back and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, a player who openly wanted to leave the club, play out of position at right wing-back. Then Arsenal went onto get battered 4-0 by Liverpool, at Anfield.

Presumably if September goes the same way as August for Arsene Wenger's men, Pascal Cygan will receive a phone call to see if he can return to North London to collect his prize.
