Everton have arguably been the Premier League's most productive club during the current transfer window, spending north of £80 million on the likes of Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford, Davey Klaasen and Sandro Ramirez, with Wayne Rooney returning to Goodison Park on a free transfer.

But with an influx of new recruits must also come some outgoings.

Aaron Lennon is one of the players believed to have been allowed to leave Goodison Park, this summer, with a loan move potentially in the pipeline for the 30-year-old winger.

The England international has been back in training for the past two months after the former Tottenham winger was found by police officers on the side of a road in Eccles, Salford on 30th April and was later admitted to hospital and detained under the Mental Health Act.

The 30-year-old received treatment for a 'stress-related illness', according to an official statement released by Everton at the time but has now been training at Finch Farm for the past two months.

Lennon's road to recovery may continue at Watford, with the Liverpool Echo reporting that Hornets' manager Marco Silva wants to add the Everton man to his side ahead of the new season.

Silva currently has Nordin Amrabat, Isaac Success and Jerome Sinclair as his wide options, but wants to add more depth to his attack and sees Lennon as an ideal addition to Watford's first team.

Lennon's return to first team action has been a success, so far, with the 30-year-old scoring in a pre-season victory over FC Twente. However, with the influx of new talent being brought in by Everton manager Ronald Koeman this summer, Lennon's playing time at Goodison Park may be limited.

A move to Vicarage Road would mark a return to London for Lennon, who spent 10 years at Tottenham, making 364 appearances during his decade at White Hart Lane, scoring 30 goals and lifting the 2008 League Cup in the process.

Here's hoping Lennon's recovery continues in the same successful manner as his pre-season.
