Footage has emerged of a young 15-year-old Kobe Bryant putting on a show at his High School's Dunk Contest. Kobe was spotted wearing LA Lakers shorts two years before he joined the Lakers in the NBA.

Kobe Bryant wasn't always known as the most athletic player in the NBA at his time, rather for his incredible footwork and will to win by any means possible.

'Young Kobe' however was a predominant dunker and high-flyer. Including his 1997 Slam Dunk Contest trophy at All-Star weekend in his rookie season.

However, three years prior to his ASG Slam-Dunk winning show, Kobe was lighting up his own High School in Philadephia.

Kobe went to Lower Merion High School and lit up every game and even a Slam-Dunk contest. Bryant averaged nearly 31 points per game in his last year at School but he also showcased his Dunking skills back in 1994 as a 15-year-old.

Remarkably, Kobe was donning LA Lakers shorts in the footage, two years before his eventual arrival at the Lakers. Kobe dropped a two-handed Tomahawk slam i the clip, showcasing his amazing athletic ability at such a young age.

Kobe was drafted 13th by the Charlotte Hornets in 1996, but his draft-rights were acquired by the Lakers on Draft Night in return for Vlade Divac.

The Black Mamba went on to play for the Lakers for 20 years where he dropped dunk after dunk on some of the best players the NBA has ever seen.
