NBA fans and specifically NBA 2K fans are urging and petitioning 2K Sports to make Kobe Bryant the cover-star of NBA 2K21. Kobe tragically passed away earlier this week with his Daughter Gianna Bryant.
Kobe Bean Bryant tragically passed away earlier this week in a Helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. His Daughter Gianna Maria also passed in the crash age 13.

Kobe isn't just synonymous for Basketball but also Basketball video games.
As one of the only players to feature in every NBA 2K title, Kobe has also been the cover-star for 2K in the past, in 2K10 while still playing, and on their Legend Edition for 2K17 after his retirement from the sport.
A majority of 2K fans on Twitter are also asking for Kobe Bryant to get the same treatment that Michael Jordan got for NBA 2K11.

In 2K11, there were numerous game modes that the challenge was to emulate some of the biggest games of Jordan's career, such as his 63 point game against the Boston Celtics in 1986.
Some of the Kobe Bryant highlight games that could be suggested include his 81-point game against the Toronto Raptors, and his 60-point retirement game against the Utah Jazz.
A petition for Bryant to be made the cover-star for 2K21 has also surfaced on Twitter with gaming news outlets such as GameRant picking up the petition.
