The Reason Behind Muhammad Ali's Hollywood Star Being On The Wall, Not The Floor
You'll read an awful lot about Muhammad Ali today, as people remember the great legacy that he left behind.
He was not only a legend in the boxing ring, but also in life - as all his memorable quotes and interviews will tell you.
Back in 2002, the former heavyweight champion was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
However, rather than his star being placed on the ground, like all the other stars, Ali requested to go against the grain and have his star hung on the wall of the Kodak Theater entertainment complex.
The reason behind him making the odd request is brilliant.
The boxer didn't want his name walked on by people who didn't respect him.
"I bear the name of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and it is impossible that I allow people to trample over his name."
Ali passed away yesterday at the age of 74-years-old, after being admitted to hospital with respiratory problems.
