Fans Want EA Sports To Bring Back Tiger Woods PGA Tour Game

Six years after EA Sports decided to drop the popular Tiger Woods PGA Tour series from the shelves, fans are desperate for the game to return after his iconic Masters win.

Woods picked up his first major for 11 years on Sunday night, winning his fifth Masters with an incredible final round to capture another famous green jacket.

The 43-year-old carded a -2 under round to card -15 under for the week, beating Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Brook Koepka by one shot to win his 15th major.

It was one of the all-time great sporting comebacks. Woods hadn't won one a major since 2008, when he won the US Open, and struggled to find form for a number of years.

It was therefore an incredible sight to see him win The Masters this year and after his heroics, people are demanding EA Sports bring back one of the all-time great games.

The publisher ended its association with the world's most famous golfer in 2013 after 14 editions of the video game.

They released the following statement to declare the end of the partnership:

"EA Sports and Tiger Woods have made a mutual decision to end our partnership, which includes Tiger's named PGA Tour golf game. We've always been big fans of Tiger and we wish him continued success in all his future endeavors.

"EA Sports golf fans have always loved authentic courses and players, but they've also asked for more choice and customization in how and where they play."

Many took to social media after he put on the famous green jacket, and made their feelings known about the possibility of Tiger Woods: PGA Tour 2020.

"So with Tiger winning the masters, does that mean @EA is coming out with another Tiger Woods PGA Tour game?" said one Twitter user.

"If there isn't a Tiger Woods PGA tour video game this year I'm selling all my consoles." another one said.
