Jon Rahm has left fans in complete awe with a sensational hole-in-one during a practice session ahead of the Masters.

The Spaniard took part in the tradition of players trying to skim the ball across the pond in front of the par-three 16th at Augusta, according to PA.

And Rahm, who celebrates his 26th birthday today, delivered an exquisite shot during the pre-Masters practice rounds.

The world No 2's shot effortlessly skimmed over the pond and landed on the green, only for it to curl around the surface for a hole-in-one.

Fans flocked to social media and shared their thoughts on the unbelievable hole-in-one from Rahm.

This year's Masters will be held at the Augusta from 12th November to 15th November.

Rahm has revealed his desire to follow in the footsteps of Seve Ballesteros, Jose Maria Olazabal and Sergio Garcia by becoming the fourth Spaniard to win the Masters.

"It would mean a lot," he said. "Needless to say, it's a special event for everybody who comes and competes at the Masters, and I would say there's such Spanish history of champions here, with three great champions and three idols of mine, that I would love to be able to add my name to that list.

"And especially this year, being a little bit sad that Sergio is not going to be able to be part of this. My heart goes out to him. I know he had some bad times with COVID, losing family members, and now he's got it as well.

"And just the history, right. I think this is the 40th anniversary of Seve's first win here at Augusta. You have Ollie, five green jackets go out to Spain, hopefully I can be the sixth."
