Michael Jordan was one of the most fearsome competitors of all time and is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players ever.
It would be a safe bet to assume that the six-time NBA champion would fear nobody, but there is one man on that list in the form of a British golfer and Arsenal fan, Ian Poulter.
This revelation came in an interview with another basketball star in Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry, as the duo discussed their mutual love of golf.
"I'm not scared of anybody, but Ian Poulter," Jordan joked in the interview in quotes published by hotnewhiphop.com.
"I used to go and watch him all the time. If I'm in any of his matches or walking down, he finds me after he makes a good putt, and it's like, 'Man, I didn't do anything. I like you. I support you.
"I stay away from him when I'm walking. I won't go watch him."
Jordan is no slouch on the golf course and has played plenty of times with five-time PGA Tour winner Rickie Fowler.
"I'm lucky enough to call him a friend, and we play a decent amount.
"I think it's very beneficial for me. One, you're playing against MJ, one of the most clutch guys there is. He's good, especially when you get him around the greens and putting. He'll putt anyone straight up."
When taking into account these golf exploits and his foray into baseball, it appears that MJ is a dab hand at any sport he tries!
