Jose Mourinho's Reds were humbled by noisy neighbours Manchester City, but even more humiliating was the reaction to another piece of shameless branding from their money-mad marketing team.
As United were being led a merry dance by City, adverts were going round the perimeter hoardings showcasing 'Yanmar - the official tractor of Manchester United'
Unsurprisingly all and sundry dug in to pile on the agony for United and their faithful. The tractor hook-up is the latest in a long list of official partnership the club have signed up to, including an official tyre, noodle and sustainable technology partners.
