West Ham Troll Jadon Sancho After He Is On The Receiving End Of Filthy Pablo Fornals Nutmeg

West Ham Troll Jadon Sancho After He Is On The Receiving End Of Filthy Pablo Fornals Nutmeg

Pablo Fornals ruined Jadon Sancho very badly during West Ham's 1-0 Carabao Cup win.

West Ham have rinsed Manchester United's Jadon Sancho after he was on the receiving end of a brutal nutmeg from Pablo Fornals in Wednesday night's 1-0 loss.

Manuel Lanzini's opener in the 8th minute set up a tie with Manchester City in the next round.

And Sancho, £73 million summer arrival from Borussia Dortmund, suffered humiliation late in the second half of the Carabao Cup third round defeat to a second-string West Ham side.

The former Manchester City academy player went to press Fornals in his box, with Nemanja Matic and Donny van de Beek nearby.

But the Spaniard, on as a substitute, was full of confidence as he received the ball before producing a filthy nutmeg on Sancho and setting up a counter-attack for the Irons.

Sancho, having been badly ruined, jogged away and looked like he was ready to walk right off the pitch as "Hello darkness my old friend" played.

Sancho is normally the one dishing out the nutmegs but he was done by a Fornals panna and West Ham posted the clip on Twitter.

The Hammers accompanied it with the caption, "See you later" and whacked in a hot dog emoji in there, as that is what the 21-year-old was sent for.

Not for the first time, Sancho struggled to impose himself for the Red Devils when handed a start and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted he and teammate Van de Beek lacked a bit of quality.

"I can’t complain about the effort. It has something to do with the rhythm, the confidence," Solskjaer said via Viaplay.

"Their best form isn’t there as they haven’t played much. Good for them to get time, but we didn’t get the result.

"So like I said, there was a bit lacking in terms of quality, but not in terms of effort."

Sancho has made seven appearances for United thus far and is yet to open his account.

His difficult start could well continue as Marcus Rashford is closing on a return from injury.
