Barcelona legend Xavi is well on his way to making as many correct predictions as he did passes.
The Spanish playmaker has found a new home in Qatari football for Al-Sadd in the Qatar Stars League - and many thought he was merely bigging'-up his side's competition with these fixture forecasts.
Astonishingly, Xavi has correctly predicted the winner of the Asian Cup 2019.

First, he correctly predicted 7/8 quarter-finalists, then 3/4 semi-finalists and both the finalists.
He backed a tournament win for Qatar.

That's right. He managed to predict seven out of eight quarter finals, three out of four semi-finals, both finalists and then the final itself.
Qatar coach Felix Sanchez is now going to be looking for Xavi when it comes to their fixtures.
He said: "I am going to call Xavi so that he can predict all our next games".
It's not the first-time predictions have come from an unlikely place. Remember the Russia World Cup cat last year?

And what about Rabio the octopus? He correctly predicted the results of Japan's World Cup fixtures. Sadly, he couldn't predict his own fate.

Fortunately for Xavi, it looks unlikely he will be made into a delicious Asian dish. But his stock as an international football pundit has surely risen after this.
