Anthony Martial Refuses To Shake Kylian Mbappe's Hand During Substitution

Anthony Martial looked to have suffered an injury but he still wasn't too happy with coming off for Mbappe for France.

Anthony Martial and Kylian Mbappe shared an awkward moment, as the Manchester United forward refused to shake his teammates hand.

World Cup holders France got off to a bumpy start to the defence of their title when they drew their opening qualifier 1-1 with Ukraine earlier this week.

Despite dropping points, Didier Deschamps decided to go into the game against Kazakhstan with star man Mbappe on the bench.

Instead United's Martial started and the forward setup Ousmane Dembele for the opening goal, after fellow United star Paul Pogba had played a great pass to him.

Martial's work was cut short in the second half though, as the 25-year-old had to come off in the 59th minute and was replaced by the PSG man.

Mbappe attempted the usual hand shake with his countryman as he replaced him, but Martial wasn't interested at all.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer won't be too happy to see his forward go off injured on international duty, especially as he'd only just come back to fitness.

Martial missed the recent Premier League game against West Ham and the Europa League game with AC Milan in Italy, after injuring himself in the first game with the Rossoneri, before returning to action in the FA Cup loss to Leicester City.

Marcus Rashford has missed the entire international break with England through injury and Edinson Cavani has also had injury problems for the Premier League side.

After Dembele put the reigning world champions ahead, Martial nearly doubled the lead but had his shot cleared off the line by Serhiy Malyi.

Unfortunately for Malyi, the Kazakh's heroics only delayed the second goal and he actually converted into his own net, on the stroke of half time.

After the break, and with the introduction of Mbappe, France had a chance to score a third from the penalty spot, but the former Monaco forward has his spot kick saved.
