Jesus Navas has officially to returned to his beloved Sevilla, and the Andalusian outfit announced his signing with a bizarre video that sees him 'kidnapped'.

The clip, posted on Sevilla's YouTube channel and social accounts, sees a 'mystery man' (Navas) kidnapped by two men and have a bag placed over his head.

It's something you'd expect to see in a film, and it all finishes with the big unveiling - the bag taken off and revealing Navas and his beautiful eyes back at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium.

Signing announcements have been crazy all summer, but it's going to take something pretty batshit mental to outdo what Sevilla have just whipped up.

Navas returns to the club he joined as a 15-year old. After making his first-team debut in 2003/04, he went on to become the club's regular right-winger - making 574 appearances, scoring 39 goals and winning two Copa Del Reys and two UEFA Cups.

He left for Manchester City in 2013 in a £14.9 million and spent four seasons at the Etihad Stadium, winning two League Cups and one Premier League title.

Last season, he made a total of 36 appearances and deputised as an emergency right-back on occasion. There was talk of the 31-year old being offered a new one-year deal to stay on at the club but the Blues announced at the end of the season that along with Willy Caballero, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy and Pablo Zabaleta, his contract was not being renewed and he would leave the club on a free.

A return to Sevilla appeared nailed on and now the signing has officially been confirmed by the club. Navas links up with former City teammate and compatriot Nolito at the La Liga outfit, and becomes the eighth signing made by Eduardo Berizzo so far this summer.
