CSKA Moscow Women's goalkeeper Elvira Todua claims that it is 'normal' for female footballers to have sex before playing, unlike their male counterparts.
It's been claimed in the past that sports stars abstain from marital, or extra marital, relations ahead of partaking in any action.

Some have even been banned from getting down to business before getting down to their actual business, as was the case for England's players under Fabio Capello.
The Italian wouldn't let players have any adult time with their partners at the 2010 World Cup, which might be why they were so desperate to get knocked out as soon as possible.
Todua though claims things are very different for female players, who clearly aren't wasting as much energy (make of that what you will).
"It is normal that women can [have sex before a game] while, for men, I know that many coaches have prohibited it," the CSKA keeper told YouTube channel Comment Show, via the Sun.
The 35-year-old, who has 100 caps for the Russia national team, also explained that she and her teammates were protected by their contracts if they get pregnant, but that it wasn't the case for all women footballers.

"Our contracts stipulate that the club is obliged to pay in case of maternity," she explained, "We have that clause in our contracts at CSKA, but it is not like that everywhere.
"I know that, in other clubs, contracts are rescinded in the case of pregnancy."
Whilst some male footballers might occasionally find themselves shackled by a pre game chastity belt, it doesn't sound like Cristiano Ronaldo is one of them.
