Zlatan Ibrahimovic was named as the richest footballer in Britain by The Sunday Times' rich list just a few days ago and now a book have revealed exactly how much the Manchester United striker earns.

The world of football is a crazy place where the money discussed can't really be computed for the average person, sure spending £89 million on a midfielder seems expensive but in reality wouldn't £3 million be just as baffling?

Of course the point is that it's all relative and there's more money in the top end of football than ever before meaning are perceptions of transfer fees have to be ever changing, even if United were probably still hoping for a bit more from Paul Pogba this season.

As well as breaking the world transfer record the Red Devils did also pick up a bargain last summer when they signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free from PSG when his contract ended.

The Swede scored 17 Premier League goals before picking up a season ending injury in the Europa League. His injury has cost him the chance to extend his time at Old Trafford.

In an upcoming German book, Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football, the 35 year old's wages have been revealed with the player picking up a tasty £367,640-a-week.

Interestingly the former AC Milan striker managed to bag enough goals for United this season to earn himself a £2.86 million goal bonus but was four Premier League starts short of earning himself a contract extension to next season.

The leaked figures also suggests that Paul Pogba earns a weekly wage of 'only' £165,588-a-week, as I said it's all relative but that does seem rather a small weekly basic considering.

Although from next year Pogba will get a loyalty bonus of £3.4 million a year on top of earning an extra £36k-a-week if United are successful in winning the Europa League this season.

The book also states that Mino Raiola, the super agent involved in bringing Pogba to the Premier League, is set to make £41 million from the transfer, nice job if you can get it.
