Zinedine Zidane Has Already Decided To Sell One Of His Stars

The Frenchman is under pressure at the Bernabeu and is ready to get rid of one of the club's biggest names.

Zinedine Zidane might need a big win over PSG and possibly even another Champions League medal to keep his Real Madrid job but the Frenchman already knows one star he'll sell in the summer.

Footballers and managers have to have a pretty short term outlook on life. Sure they aren't always the most loyal of people but their clubs tend not to be either and a manager could lose his job at any moment.

Antonio Conte is still just eight months from winning the Premier League title but it seems unlikely that he and Chelsea will be together much longer. The same is true for Zinedine Zidane at Real Madrid.

Zizou might have become the first man to win back-to-back Champions League titles in just his first full season in management, yeah that's pretty mad, but he now looks on the verge of losing his job unless he repeats the trick, even crazier.

And according to reports the Frenchman certainly has his eyes on one man to shoulder some of the blame for the poor season as he's apparently decided to sell one of his stars. Tv show El Chiringuito report, via AS, that Zidane is unhappy with Isco and will sell him, saying:

"Isco was deemed to be more of a pivotal player than the Colombian [James Rodriguez] but has had a discreet and underwhelming season so far. Zidane is a huge admirer of Isco's style of play and what he can offer the team and for this reason opted to keep faith in the player deeming that he would be instrumental in the creative play of the side.

"After a discreet season so far, Zidane feels let down by the player and as things currently stand will request that the club offload the player in the summer transfer market should the French coach remain on the Santiago Bernabeu bench next season."

Isco became a huge part of Real's success last season when Gareth Bale was injured and the Spaniard became a pivotal part of the starting XI, with most people believing Los Blancos were better without the Welshman.

In turn Zidane persuaded Florentino Perez to sell James Rodriguez and keep Isco with the former Monaco man joining Bayern Munich on loan.

This season the former Malaga man has only scored five La Liga goals and put on five assists as the champions have struggled, sitting 19 points off Barcelona at the top.

Will Zidane still be there to sell Isco?
