All summer, West Ham United have been linked with buying a 'big name' striker to strengthen their attack. The Hammers have been rumoured with moves for Carlos Tevez, Gonzalo Higuaín and Andre Ayew, but none have yet to materialise.
Another player the club have been linked with is AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca. However, according to recent reports, the move has stalled and West Ham are now looking at other targets.
So, who's next on the list?
Advert
Mario Gomez.
West Ham are considering a move for the Fiorentina forward who spent last season on loan at Turkish side Beşiktaş. The 31-year-old announced that he would not be making his move permanent over political concerns.
Mario Gomez at West Ham? Not a bad signing if that one happens.
