Lionel Messi could have some of his wages played by other teams from La Liga, amidst Barcelona's issues being able to afford their captain next season.
Messi is currently a free agent after his contract expired at Barcelona at the beginning of July, and he's yet to sign a new deal.

That might be due to the fact that Barca are currently above their wage cap and must reduce wages, otherwise their new signings won't be able to play in the league next season.
The situation is so bad for Ronald Koeman's side that according to one report they'll be ready to sell Antoine Griezmann in order to sort finances out.
However that might change with the shock report that other La Liga clubs actually want to help pay Messi's wages because they think it's beneficial for the league.
"There are elite presidents of Spanish football who are willing to make a contribution to pay for Messi's contract at Barcelona and keep him in Spanish football," journalist Roberto Gomez claimed on radio channel El Transistor.

"They say it's good for Barcelona and the Spanish league."
Can't help but think that if that is the case it won't be Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid who are putting their hands in their pocket.
The other clubs are right that La Liga would be a much worse place without the brilliance of the six time Ballon d'Or winner but surely it would give them a better chance of beating the Catalan giants.

It would be an embarrassing look for the 26 time Spanish champions if they did have to accept help from the teams below them in the league just to afford their own captain.
However, if the alternative is simply losing their top goalscorer of all time then you'd imagine they'll almost certainly take that money.
Messi won't currently be focusing on his contract at Barca too much and will be thinking about his chance to finally win some silverware at international level on Saturday night.
