Could Troy Deeney's association with Watford be coming to an end?

The Hornets' skipper has been attracting plenty of interest from other Premier League clubs, with Newcastle and West Brom heavily linked.

And it's emerged that the Baggies have made a £16 million bid for the 29-year old striker as Alan Pardew looks to add to his attacking options.

Deeney to West Brom has been reported by several outlets, but according to John Percy from The Telegraph, Watford are yet to accept the offer and may want a few extra million for their No.9.

Though Jay Rodriguez has returned to form of late, West Brom still look a little light up top and are looking to bring Deeney, born in Birmingham and a former Walsall player, back to his neck of the woods.

The Premier League's dirtiest XI:

Deeney has had to make do with a reduced role at Vicarage Road this season, with seven of his 15 Premier League appearances coming as a substitute.

A Watford legend, Deeney has netted 109 goals in 320 appearances, including the memorable stoppage time winner against Leicester City to send his side through to the play-off final in 2013.

He's scored more than 20 goals per season in three campaigns in the Championship for Watford and notched 13 in his first season in the Premier League in 2015/16.

Would he be a good addition for West Brom?

Sound off in the comments.
