Manchester United are set to add their second signing of the summer with reports that they have agreed a £50 million deal with Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka really turned heads in a breakout season for Crystal Palace last season and had been linked with Manchester United, Manchester City and Spurs at the end of the season.

For a while the Red Devils have looked to be the only team left in the race, as they desperately try to add quality to their squad, and now BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein is reporting that the club have agreed a fee for the young English defender.

Should Wan-Bissaka agree terms with the 13 time Premier League winners then he would become United's second signing of the summer, and their second young British signing.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team have only added Daniel James from Swansea City, for around £15 million, to the team who finished sixth in the league last season.

A right back was high on the list of priorities for the Old Trafford side with winger turned full back Ashley Young being the most used player in that position last season.

Wan-Bissaka had a breakout season in south London, playing 35 times in the league, and caught everyone's attention.

By the end of the season many England fans were calling for Gareth Southgate to include him in the England squad, first for the Euro 2020 qualifiers in March and then in the Nations League this summer.

The addition of the 21 year old continues the signing policy that Solskjaer reportedly wants in signing young players.

Next on the list of priorities for the club will be a centre back. The team conceded more goals than they ever have in the Premier League era and need reinforcements.

Harry Maguire, Issa Diop, Matthijs de Ligt and Kalidou Koulibaly are amongst the players that have been linked.

Where will United finish next season?
